Pacific Brain Health Center experts in neurology, psychiatry, psychology, and geriatric medicine work collaboratively to provide evaluation and holistic treatment for middle-aged and older adults.
With a main focus in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, we are dedicated to addressing the body, mind, and emotions of patients for health and quality of life. We care for memory loss and associated conditions including cross-functional areas of hormonal imbalance, vision and hearing loss, balance and falls, neuromuscular and spinal problems, and psycho-oncological issues associated with a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

mm hmm. Yes. Mhm. The pacific Brain Health Center is a place where we have everybody working together to help people preserve their brain health. My name is David Merrill. I'm the director of the pacific Brain Health Center for the past few years. I've really had a vision to create and joined together with like minded individuals in a multidisciplinary center where we have neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists and a number of other disciplines all working together collaboratively to optimize and improve brain health. I'm an adult and older adult psychiatrist. I focus on anxiety and depression related to health challenges. I prefer to treat not only the identified patient but also loved ones spouses, adult Children, caregivers, families. We're nearing a time where we're going to have more people over the age of 65 than under the age of 18 for the first time in human history. So with this great gift of our longevity on the other side of that, we're certainly seeing more and more dementia, cognitive impairment. My job as a geriatrician is really to bring that lens to the team kind of a big picture view as to how we can help people age well and really preserve their brain health. I'm dr vernon Porter. I'm director of Alzheimer's dementia and neurocognitive programs. My interest areas and people with memory loss, degenerative conditions dimensions. One of the areas were really interested in developing is preventative cognitive health medicine and taking people who want to optimize their cognitive performance, ceo s, doctors, lawyers, teachers, people who are at the top of their game and want to stay that way. I'm Sarah McEwen. I'm the director of research and programming the specific brain health center and I'm a cognitive psychologist. So here at the pacific Brain Health Center, what we want to do is create a center of excellence for clinical research that's embedded in a brane health program. Our target right now is focusing on patients with dementia and Alzheimer's disease and trying to intervene at the earliest stage as possible. It's not a one size fits all sort of treatment here. We're able to deliver combined physical training with cognitive training at the same time. My name is William buck, Sr Bill Buxton. I'm a neurologist here at pacific neuroscience. I'm director of neuro muscular and neural diagnostics and fall prevention. I really like taking care of people with nerve and muscle disorders. All prevention involves literally mind to head to toe. So we need good vision, we need good inner ear function. We need intact nerves, muscles and spine and brain with a lot of the work that Dr McEwen induct reporters are doing. We're seeing that you can actually treat a lot of things before you wouldn't ordinarily see them or they would pose a problem. I'm shanti Gary Nathan and I'm the director of psycho oncology at pacific neuroscience Institute. I start to see patients whenever they need me on their cancer journey. So that means The day of diagnosis all the way up until you were 5, 10 years out and we get to celebrate. I don't think anyone should have to do it alone. We're getting the feedback from our patients that this experience is unique. I really do think that there's a quality of care here that I would want for my family. Mhm.
